The Indonesian Geophysical Society was founded in 1975 and has over 4000 registered members. The 47th Annual Scientific Meeting of Indonesian Association of Geophysicist is a large-scale exchange exhibition in the fields of geophysical sciences and engineering, which is strongly supported by the Indonesian government. This scientific meeting with international and local speakers and in-depth technical knowledge and group discussion activities, with "sustainable energy transformation of the influence of climate, economy and society" as the theme, attracted more than 30 industry exhibitors from all over the world, visited more than 1500 people, to discuss the latest geophysical prospecting products and technologies.
